Thomas Robert Burgasser

Tom was born on October 5, 1939, and lived most of his life in Cincinnati. He married the love of his life Patricia Thomas on October 22, 1960, and they were married for 44 years until her passing in 2004. Tom served as a member of the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman assigned as an Accounting - Financial Specialist at Chanute Air Force Base. He went on to become a Supervisor at General Electric Aerospace and worked there until his retirement. During his life he made a lot of friends and became known as "Grandpa" to many. He passed away peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by family on November 6, 2025. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children Thomas M. (Malia), Timothy (Amy), and Ted Burgasser. His grandchildren Matthew (Jamie) Burgasser, Megan (Adam) Swingle, Nicholas and Jack Burgasser. His great grandchildren Andrew, Daniel and Olivia Swingle. He is also survived by his sister Marlene (the late Doug) Black and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings Sister Michael Marie (Patricia) and Edward (Patricia) Burgasser.
Visitation will be held at Gilligan Funeral Home, 3671 Warsaw Avenue in Price Hill, from 8:30 am until the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at St. Lawrence Church in Price Hill at 10:00 am on November 12, 2025.
Memorials in his memory may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the American Cancer Society.
