Thomas Anthony Cerafice Sr.

Thomas Anthony Cerafice, Sr., 87, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Thomas later settled in New Jersey, where he built a life rooted in service, family, and curiosity. He was retired from The Department of Sanitation in Brooklyn, NY and proudly served his country in both the United States Navy and the United States Army, where he developed a strong aptitude for technology. During his military career, he became highly skilled in Morse code, learned to build radios, and eventually mastered computer assembly-skills that sparked a lifelong fascination with electronics. As a man with extraordinary intellect, Thomas was known for his quick wit, remarkable intelligence, and love of learning. Following his military service, Thomas worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. His dedication and work ethic were only matched by his deep love for his family.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Rose Cerafice, and his brother Alfred Cerafice (Barbara). He leaves behind his devoted wife, Geraldine Cerafice; his children, Gregory Cerafice (Ruben), Thomas Cerafice (Danniella), Darlene Cerafice (Joe), Dawn Cerafice (Joe), and Dayna Cerafice (Vincent); his cherished grandchildren, Bryan, Dylan, Ryan, Ethan and Christopher; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Donovan and Dmitri.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, July 7th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 8th at 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel's Historic Church in Marlboro, NJ. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
