My sincere condolences to the Cheplick family. Not only was he a good science teacher but a very good coach for Swimming and Baseball. He was a wonderful man that taught me many life lessons.

I grew up next door to the Cheplick family. I spend many a day in their home and romping through our wonderful neighborhood. Mr. Cheplick always greeted me with a warm smile and welcoming conversation. He was also my football coach which I have several fond memories. I will miss you dear neighbor, coach, teacher and friend.

I attended the new brand new Thomas Edison high school from 1956 to 1962.
I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Cheplick as a teacher, and as a person he was always very nice and very supporting, no matter my own faults. It pleases me that Mr. Cheplick had a long life and loved his students.
He was loved by all.

He taught me science in 9th grade. Always enjoyed our chats and attending church with him . He will be deeply missed. Memory Eternal.

It is so sad to say Goodbye to those who have been important parts of our lives.--no matter if it was during high school years or long after...Tom Cheplick is one of those teachers.
