Thomas Lendonburgh Cheshier, 91, of
Littlefield, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2026, in

Thomas's family was large. He was one of ten children in his home. Thomas enlisted in the military and served in the U.S. Army in Korea from December 5, 1956, to December 3, 1958. Thomas was also a member of the VFW. At thirty years old, Thomas married his beloved Jean Knight on May 1, 1964. He was an admirable father to their five children. His family was multiplied in love with the addition of thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Thomas worked for the Ford Plant in San Jose, California and SPS on the systems crew. He and his family later moved to

Furthermore, Thomas was a man who loved life and the joys it had to offer. He enjoyed embracing adventures that came with being outdoors. Thomas liked fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Music was close to his heart. He loved to whistle tunes and was a talented guitar player who could pick up nearly any stringed instrument and play it with ease. Thomas had an appreciation for old country music. He spent countless hours working with his hands, whether he was fixing something that needed repair, or tending to his garden.
Thomas was known as a handyman who could fix just about anything. Lending a helping hand was second in nature for Thomas. Thomas never met a stranger and making new friends was a natural gift of his. He was well known for his funny sense of humor and was often telling jokes. Thomas gained satisfaction by bringing a smile to others or enjoying laughter with them. There are countless memories that were made with Thomas and his family.
