Thomas Ciminelli Obituary
Thomas Edward Ciminelli Sr., 68, and his loving wife, Darlene Gilbee Ciminelli, 65, both of Marmaduke, passed from the cares of this life together on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at their residence.
Thomas was born on June 3, 1953, to the late Carl Giminelli and Alberta Hazelshwert Laski in Brighton, Mich. Darlene was born on July 10, 1956, in Chelsea, Mich., to the late Melbourn and Beatrice Bradshaw Gilbee.
Thomas and Darlene loved spending time together and would have been so happy to know that they both passed together. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed riding motorcycles, doing anything outdoors, including fishing and hunting and working on vehicles; something he passed down to his boys. Darlene enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading and just spending time with Thomas. Darlene and Thomas both were quick witted and loved joking and making people happy. They would do anything for anybody and were always willing to help.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Giminelli and Alberta Laski; one brother, Joey Ciminelli; and a sister, Sharon Ann Ciminelli. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Melbourn and Beatrice Gilbee; and one sister, Martha Lane.
Left to cherish precious memories are children, Thomas Edward Ciminelli Jr. and Laura Clayton, Kirt Ciminelli and Katrina, Amanda Andis Walker and Mike, all of Marmaduke; grandchildren, Chris Clayton, Austin Clayton, Chloe Ciminelli, Veronica Ciminelli, Emily Ciminelli, Chandler Harrelson, Alexis Harrelson, Jason Andis, Katlyn Andis; Thomas's brothers and sisters, Carl Ciminelli Sr., and Richard Ciminelli, both of Michigan, Debbie Fakitas of Greece; Darlene's brothers and sister, Leon Gilbee of Lafe, Earl Gilbee of Rector and Pam Causey of Paragould; along with a host of other special relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2, at 3 p.m. at the Marmaduke First Baptist Church, with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector. Those who wish may sign the online guestbook at www.irbyfuneralhome.com.

Tommy's mom Darlene. Always thinking of her kids and husband before herself. When I think of you I see a huge smile and hear your joyful laughter. Working in your garden with a big pot of goulash on the stove after a long day of work. You are an amazing woman and mother. So going to miss your smile and laughter....and the goulash. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Love.

"Uncle" Tommy made a big impression on my life. Tough exterior with a big heart. I mostly called him Tommy's dad since Jr. and I have been best of friends since we were kids. Tommy's dad was always good for a story or joking around. He loved his family and Darlene and anyone would see that immediately. He also was good for teaching, sharing, and helping others, although he was humble about those qualities. Honored and grateful for knowing you "Uncle" Tommy Will miss you until we meet again.
