Thomas D. Comi Sr.

Greenwood - Thomas D. Comi Sr., 69, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away in his home on Friday March 8, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1954, in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Tom grew up with six siblings: Marjorie, Jean, David, and Jeffery. He was preceded in death by his brothers John Jr and James as well as his loving parents John Sr., and Rose.

Tom is survived by the love of his life of 50 years, his wife Betty Jo. He is also survived by his three children Katherine, Timothy, and Thomas Jr. and his five grandchildren Roman, Rachel, Hunter, Autumn, and Tessa. Tom is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who loved him deeply.

Tom had a great passion and respect for law enforcement and military. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending that time in the woods both in Pennsylvania and Indiana. Tom enjoyed reading Civil War history, cooking, baking bread, wood working, and knife making. He was a fun and loving Papa who adored his grandchildren. He loved attending their sporting events and was truly their biggest fan. Tom's favorite things were to share anything from his garden along with food he made from scratch, as well as sharing his extensive knowledge gained from his enjoyment in reading.

Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to a memorial gathering held at Wilson St Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel located at 481 W. Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46142 from 2:00-4:30 on Saturday March 23, 2024. A private prayer service will follow for the family at 4:30pm.
