Thomas Norton Cook, 91, passed away on Nov. 24, 2025, in Esko, Minn. Born on Dec. 10, 1933, Thomas led a life marked by dedication to his family and a lasting legacy of love and guidance.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joann Cook, and their six children: Cheryl (Earl) Brown, Valerie Mooney (Tony Gedeist), Sheree Barrett, Teree Higgins, Gregory (Angie) Cook and Gary Cook. His legacy extends through his 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his teachings and affection. Thomas is also survived by his sister, Donna Thomas and brother, Donald Cook.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: Emory and Rose Cook and his siblings: Charles, James, Timothy, Raymond and Thelma Cook.
Thomas's life was one of commitment and service, not only to his family but to his community as well. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, as his was a presence that brought stability, strength and love.
