Thomas Craig Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 18, 2025.
Thomas Craig, of Feasterville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Hospital. He was 81.
Tom was the beloved husband of 57 years to Kathleen Watts Craig, and a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Donald and Celia (Avosso) Craig. Tom attended Newark College of Engineering on a full scholarship and graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He spent the majority of his career as a plant engineer for several chemical processing companies along the East Coast. Mid-career, he pursued his entrepreneurial spirit and operated a seafood restaurant for ten years before returning to the engineering field.
In retirement, Tom found joy in traveling across the country with Kathy, visiting many of America's national parks. He was a proud and loving Pop Pop, known for doting on his grandchildren and cheering them on in everything they did. A lifelong baseball fan, Tom was an avid supporter of his beloved Brooklyn and later Los Angeles Dodgers.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children: Tommy Craig of Perkasie, PA; Kenneth Craig and his wife Annette of Ambler, PA; Christopher Craig and his wife Jenny of Chester Springs, PA; Jennifer Smith and her husband Robert of Delran, NJ; and Kathryn Craig of Longmont, CO. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie DeYoung and her husband Bruce; twelve grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to Tom's visitation on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the start of his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tom's memory may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3551 North Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19140.
