Thomas Wayne Criddle, 74, of Lepanto, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1951 in Dyess, Arkansas to Robert Ellis and Gladys Odell Franks Criddle. A member of Lepanto First Baptist Church, Thomas was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, gardening and especially growing watermelons, cantaloupes and vegetables. His love for animals was unmatched - he often brought home abandoned wildlife including racoons, squirrels, and chipmunks, nursing them to health. He raised dogs, goats, pigs, chickens, horses and quail, and cherished his time on the lake in his pontoon, watching deer wander into the yard. Known for his humor, warm heart, and mischievous streak, Thomas’s greatest happiness came from time spent with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son: Chad Criddle, his parents, and his sister: Peggy Austin.
Thomas leaves behind his loving wife of fifty-four years: Lois Criddle of the home, daughter: Bridget Senter (Travis Senter, II) of Osceola, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Trace and Ellison, two sisters: Helen Williams of Conway, Arkansas and Jackie White of Peachtree City, Georgia, and his loyal dog: Roxy.
