Thomas E. Cyparski Jr

Thomas E. Cyparski, Jr., age 51, of Erie, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Meadville Medical Center after a prolonged illness. He was born in Erie on April 20, 1970.

Tom was a 1988 graduate of Harbor Creek High School and received an Associate Degree from Penn State Main Campus. He worked at many golf courses, including Lawrence Park, Gospel Hill and then Erie Golf Course, where he was the superintendent for five years. Tom then returned to Gospel Hill to work in the Pro Shop. He loved golfing, hunting, fishing, and bowling, and also enjoyed working on cars, especially his Camaro. Tom was a very devoted father; family was extremely important to him. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Ashley Cyparski; his mother Mary Payha Cyparski Schneider; his stepfather, Bill Schneider; one sister, Jeanette "Jenn" Cyparski; three brothers, William Cyparski, David Cyparski, and B.J. Schneider; one niece, Tawnie Cyparski; three stepsons, Jered Regan, David Butler, and Michael Butler; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday at 10 am at St. James R.C. Church. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make-A-Wish-Foundation or Northwestern Kidney Foundation.
