Thomas Davis, known to all as Tom, was born on December 21, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on July 25, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Tom had a dedicated career as a police officer and firefighter for East Grand Rapids Public Safety. He graduated from Mason County High School, where the foundation for a life of community service started.
Known for his outgoing personality, Tom was a master storyteller and brought joy to family gatherings with his engaging tales. He was an avid card player, drawing his friends and family into spirited games. In addition to his storytelling talents, he was also a good dancer, lighting up the dance floor at any occasion.
Tom enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests, including playing softball and riding his motorcycle.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children, Guy (Shelly) Davis, Raye Anne (Chris) Vogler, Shane (Christina) Davis, and Lang (Laura) Davis.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, John Arlauskas, his mother, Bernice Jodko, his sister, Carol Leonard, and his uncle and aunt, Jeff and Blanch Kuhnofer. His legacy of laughter, friendship, and service will be missed by all who knew him.
