Thomas Anthony “Tony” Day took his last breath on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Jackson, MS. He was 73 years old.
Tony was born on February 6, 1952, to Norba Walter Day and Mary Habilee Davis Day Goad in Vicksburg, MS. He was a master mechanic and loved antique cars. And he enjoyed watching westerns.
Tony is preceded in death by parents; son, Anthony Lynn Day; and brothers, Walter Day and Norba Lewis Day. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa Renee Day of Raymond, MS; children, Tammy Swayze, Tasha Sasser, Patrick Day, Joseph Day, Samantha Andrews, Sara Day, Stephanie Day, and Patrick Laster; sister, Anita Smith of Mendenhall, MS; 16 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
