Thomas "Tom" Dayberry, age 62, of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Rhonda Dayberry (nee Sinsabaugh); children: Elizabeth (Matt) Mullan of CA and Angela Dayberry of CA; grandchildren: Elvira and Elliot Mullan of CA; mother, Ann Marie Dayberry of Crown Point, IN; brothers: Adam Dayberry of OH, Rob (Tonia) Dayberry of Lake Village, IN; sister, Lisa (Sean) Mitchell of Cedar Lake, IN; brothers-in-law: Mike (Minnie) Sinsabaugh of Arjay, KY and Bob Nance of Portage, IN; sister-in-law, Tina Rayner of Portage, IN; numerous nieces and nephews, close friends and family; and beloved pets: Tom Cat, Mason, Tiger, Sophie and Goldie.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, John "Dick" Dayberry; and biological mother: Elizabeth Ann Dayberry (nee Jackson); and sister, Melissa Dayberry.
Tom was a long standing volunteer at God's Appointed Place Food Pantry in Crown Point and Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed cheering on the White Sox and was very proud of his '66 Cadillac convertible. He also loved working in his yard and making it beautiful. Tom always made spending time with friends and family a priority. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In honor of Tom, please wear any White Sox gear or any casual wear.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Tom's name to God's Appointed Place Food Pantry, 1936 N. Main St., Crown Point, IN 46307.
