Thomas "Tom" Del Moore

Thomas (Tom) Del Moore, age 78, formerly of Levittown, Pennsylvania and Palmyra, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. Tom was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Levittown, Pennsylvania. He was retired from the Federal Government where he worked for over 30 years. He was also President of the Palmyra School Board. For years, he was a parishioner at Converge Church in New Jersey, where he had many dear friends. He was a 1965 graduate of Bishop Egan High School and a 1970 graduate of Penn State University.

Tom is predeceased by his loving wife and soul mate of 52 years, Kathleen (Kathy) Del Moore (nee Nelson); beloved and cherished father to Gabriel Del Moore and Jason Del Moore; son of the late David Del Moore and the late Virginia Del Moore (nee Cecere); beloved and eldest brother to David Del Moore, Jr. (Mary Del Moore (née Adler), Nicholas Del Moore, Michael Del Moore (Valerie Del Moore (née Bidlingmaier), Anthony Del Moore (Susan Del Moore (née Chismar), and Marie Burke (née Del Moore) (Russell Burke); and beloved uncle to Jessica, Erica, Andrew, Nick, Mia, Sarah, Michael and Brian; and great nieces and nephews.

Tom was blessed with a beautiful singing voice from a very young age. His beautiful voice brought so much joy to everyone he met throughout his life. He also played the piano. There wasn't a time throughout his life when he wasn't asked to sing wherever he was. After retirement, Tom would go to various nursing homes and sing, mainly Frank Sinatra ballads, bringing so much joy to the residents. In addition to his amazing talent, Tom's personality was equally entertaining. With his warm heart and wonderful sense of humor, he brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around him.

The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, with a service to begin at 12:00 pm.
