Youngstown – Thomas D. DeMonaco, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026.

Thomas was born May 26, 1932, in West Pittsburgh, PA., the son of Pasquale and Lavinia D'Allesandro DeMonaco.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Thomas retired from General Motors Lordstown in 1996 after 30 years of service.

He was a member of St. Christine Church.

In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed photography, electronics, and model trains.

His wife, the former Barbara Ann Almquist whom he married in 1958, passed away in 1999.

Thomas will always be remembered lovingly by his daughter, Patricia (Eric) Daniels; four grandchildren, Andrea (Chris) Vesey, Calli (David) Martino, Evan (Natalie) Daniels, and Grace Daniels; a sister, Mary Ann Isaac; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Carmen DeMonaco.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman, followed by a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Christine Church in Youngstown.

Family and friends are encouraged to offer prayers for the family by visiting the Book of Memories at www.rossifunerals.com.
