I became friends with Tom while working with him at Farm Bureau. Tom was always on the cutting edge of technology at work and I have to say that he was one of the smartest people I've ever known. We shared many tech discussions together and often times I came away in awe of the way he could explain things to me. He often used his humor to help me stay connected to his ideas. Tom was a generous man, often to a fault. While at Farm Bureau, he put in countless hours of effort above and beyond what was asked of him. I will remember Tom fondly and be comforted by being able to call him my friend.
My sympathies to Deb and his family.
