The funeral service for Thomas K. Dominic will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 20th at Airport Christian Fellowship Church. Calling hours will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm, service will also be live streamed with a link on his Facebook. Thomas, 53, of Watertown NY passed away on Friday, December 15th at Hospice due to health complications.
Born January 23rd 1970 in New Delhi, India, Thomas was raised by parents Aleyama and Dominic. While living in the US he wore many hats, from cab driving to security in NYC. He joined the US Army in 1996, following the Bosnia War, having an honorable career as a US soldier. He later worked for Time Warner Cable as a technician, and then at Fedex as a manager. Thomas is described as smart, sarcastic, humorous, and possessing a bit of a "mean streak", and having a genuine heart. His passions included food, music, tennis, fishing, and being outdoors by the water. He loved his children and grandson. He became closer to the Lord after the passing of his son Isaiah Thomas in 2020. His main aspirations were to better his life, grow through his challenges and find peace. Forgiveness and clarity were part of his everyday mantras.
He is survived by his children Ashley Lamourt, Joshua Dominic and Dominic Thomas. He is predeceased by his son Isaiah Thomas.
He leaves behind friends who are considered family Willette Berry, Tanisha Carr, Sheldon Dukes, Matt Jessman, Pastor Josh Gmitter and their loved ones.
We want to thank Hospice of Jefferson County for allowing Thomas to be surrounded by family during his final days and Airport Christian Fellowship Church for hosting the services and guiding him through this journey and the next. Condolences can be made in person during calling hours or at the funeral service. Separate donations for the church will also be accepted.
