He led a rich and rewarding life. His and Pat's friendships with Navy buddies was deeply appreciated. It was an honor and privilege to have known him. Peace and smiling memories to Pat, Scott, Brian, all his grandchildren, great grand daughter, siblings, and friends.

I worked with Tom for many years at Sikorsky. He was a sharp pilot and engineer, always calm and low key. Above all , he was a gentleman in all respects. All of my memories of Tom are very pleasant and the aviation community has lost a valuable member.

I worked with Tom at Sikorsky . He was always the ultimate professional when he was flying . He had the skill set most pilots dream of having . RIP .

I flew with Tom for decades, and always was in awe of his skill and his ability to constantly increase his proficiency and knowledge. He was an FAA examiner, an Engineering Representative and a Standardization Pilot, each a separate and distinguished achievement. His helicopter speed record still stands 40 years later. Tom was also a fine friend, with a twinkle in his eye and a vast sense of humor. Once we jumped to the head of a long waiting list at a restaurant by asking the hostess to be sure Senator Doyle would be shown no special favor. His distinguished white hair and perfect posture assured that Senator Doyle´s party was quickly seated. Speaking for the Sikorsky test pilots of Tom´s generation, please RIP, Tom.
