Thomas Duffy Jr Obituary
Thomas Delbert Duffy Jr., age 67, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away August 10, 2023 at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center, New Lexington, Ohio.
Thomas was born December 30, 1955 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Thomas Delbert Duffy Sr. and Margaret Ellen Nesselrood-Duffy. He attended Point Pleasant Training School; graduated from God's Bible School & College in Cincinnati; earned an accounting degree; managed Dollar General and Dollar Tree Stores; was an ordained minister and member of the Early Methodist Church; was treasurer and secretary of Southeastern Ohio Regional Youth Camp; and a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Surviving are his wife Brenda Sue Cundiff-Duffy; children Thomas Delbert Duffy III, Christopher Todd Duffy (Diane Fenner), Amy Michelle Duffy, Samuel Duffy (Emily Fochs), Eric Russell Duffy (Ali Campbell); several grandchildren; a great great-grandchild; sister Laura Ellen (William) Anderson.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Brian James Duffy; son Andrew Michael Duffy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home Logan, Ohio with Steve Heskett Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Calling hours will be observed 6-8pm Monday August 14, 2023
