Thomas Eddy, 62, passed away at Sister James Care Center in Yankton, SD, July 28, 2024, after an 11-month battle with brain cancer. A memorial service, with military rites, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 2 at Goglin Funeral Home in Tyndall. Visitation begins at 10 a.m.
Tom was a very kind-hearted person. He grew up and went to school in Waverly, NY. Tom loved trains, music and driving, just about everything. He also enjoyed following the Minnesota Twins, liked golf, fishing, history and spending time with family and friends. Tom served his country in the Air Force and Air National Guard in Syracuse, NY and was deployed in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm. After his military career, Tom was a stay-at-home dad for 12 years and then drove a semi-truck for over a decade.
He is predeceased by his father, Richard and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughters, Courtney and Paige; his mother, Phyllis; aunt, Alberta; brother, Rick; sister-in-law, Kathy; sister, Deb; brother-in-law, Phil and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
