Thomas Joseph Etowski

Tom and I graduated from John Carroll University, Tom in 1964 and I in 1965. Three of those years we were often together as members of the military fraternity Pershing Rifles and as cadet officers in the Reserve Officer Training Corps. After graduation I saw Tom a few times as we were both in the Army. We were in Vietnam at the same time but did not run across one another over there but we certainly heard about his "adventures"! I kept up with Tom, mainly through mail and emails over the decades. What I will always remember about him is that when he was around there was never a dull moment. In college, the outrageous, mildly or more, was never a deterrent to Tom. He was a courageous soldier as his decorations attest. I will always have fond memories of him. My condolences to the Etowski family. Tom, ut vos requiescant in pace.
