Thomas Evey Obituary
John was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Hoover High School. He retired from The Beaver Excavating Co. after many years of service. He loved taking care of his horses. John was also an avid bike rider and enjoyed riding on the Towpath. He also enjoyed taking small trips with friends to different States.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Santa Joy Morris, Carol Lee Houston, Jim Evey, Joe Evey, and Tammy Thompson.
He is survived by wife, Janie Evey with whom he shared 58 years of marriage; sons, Tom (Wafaa) Evey, Jr. and Anthony "Tony" (Lea) Evey; grandchildren, Hannah E. Evey,Thomas "TJ" John Evey, III, Monica (David) J. Nagy, Michael AJ Evey, Kaylee Evey, Logan Evey, and Bianca (Brantley) Fernandez; sisters, Trish Schlabach, Lindi Thompson, and Debbie Tomasic.
A Celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Those unable to attend the service may go to www.paquelet.com and click on Live Web Cast at 2 p.m. Calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 1- 2 pm before the service.

It´s been such a long time but I remember John from Canton Grace Brethren. I remember him always smiling and he often made me laugh. Praying for you all that God´s peace will comfort you.

Great memories of John from when I was in middle school and went to Canton Grace Brethern. Such a fun guy, he used to sing a country song to our family and I just can´t remember which one it was. Prayers for you all!
