Thomas Patrick Femano Sr.

Thomas Patrick Femano, Sr., 86 of Solvay, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Crouse Irving Hospital. A lifetime resident of Solvay, he was a graduate of Solvay High School. He had a strong work ethic that he instilled upon his children. He retired from the Village of Solvay Police Department. Tom was a loving husband and father. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time at his son's auto mechanic shop. He enjoyed going to ESTA Speedway to watch his son drag race. Tom loved to sit in the living room watching TV while eating homemade food prepared by his wife. He looked forward to working out in the yard with his daughter. He was happy spending time with the grandchildren. Later in life, he started researching his family heritage. He found family in Italy and Australia. He was so happy to travel with his wife to Italy to meet his relatives. He would frequently speak to his relatives in Australia.
Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Mary Anne (Cavedine) Femano, his parents, Rocco and Clementina (Ludovici) Femano, several brothers and sisters.
Surviving is his son, Thomas (Patricia) Femano, Jr., daughter, Lisa Marie Femano, grandchildren, Thomas Femano III and Samuel Femano, brother, Gerald, multiple sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins.
Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Monday, December 15, 2025 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue, Solvay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at St. Marianne Cope Parish – St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay. Thomas will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
