Thomas Fix

Tom Fix of State College, passed away to the glories of heaven on May 20, 2025.
Tom's life was shaped by his devotion to family and friends and by his fondness of art, nature, animals, antiques and cars. He was a natural born talker who could strike up a conversation with anyone.
After attending the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, he crafted beautiful stained-glass pieces. His career path as a senior designer in engineering reflected Tom's creativity and attention to detail.
Tom enjoyed giving of himself through volunteer opportunities. Combining his interests in the outdoors and cycling, he became involved in the Montour Rails to Trails project. Through Three Rivers Adaptive Sports, Tom was active in adaptive skiing, cycling and tennis. Skiing was his true joy with many vacations spent on the slopes in Breckenridge, CO. His most cherished volunteer time was spent in the classroom at Radio Park Elementary School where his daughters attended.
Tom never met a Jeep that he didn't like, especially enjoying Jeep Jamborees in Bradford, PA and the Adirondacks.
Tom was a fighter that fought the good fight with many health issues for many years.
He will be missed by his wife, Susan; daughters, Sierra and Marissa; dogs, Sophie and Jack, as well as many family and friends.
His family would like to thank the caring staff at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Rest in peace Tom. Enjoy the wonders of Heaven, where no doubt, all the dogs will be your constant companions.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
