Thomas Edward Foreman

Thomas Edward Foreman (77) of Savanna, IL passed away on February 11, 2024 in Ocean Springs, MS.  He was the loving husband of Shelby (nee Goforth) for 42 years.  He was the loving father of Tracy (Steve) Kimbrel and the late Tommy Foreman, stepfather of Melody (Ron) Delk and William Ashley (Jenni) Delk.  He leaves 3 grandchildren:  Eddie (Calyn) Huchthausen, Alexis (Matt) Cosenza, and Benjamin (Lisa) Kimbrel; and 4 step-grandchildren:  Kate Slahetka, Thomas Delk, Branden (Sierra) Delk, and Madison Delk.  He was the great grandfather and stepgreat grandfather of 8.He was born to the late Thomas and late Evelyn (nee Albanese) Foreman on November 4, 1946.  He leaves his brother Jeff (Ofelia), 3 nieces Christina (Jake) Vercimak and their 2 children, Caroline (Charles) Maurer and their 2 children, and Catherine Foreman.

He retired from Vent Products Co., Inc., an HVAC manufacturer in Chicago, IL in 2009 after 43 years.He was an avid stock market participant and watched CNBC faithfully every day.  He also collected l980-90 vehicles and enjoyed spending Jan. and Feb. at the beach in Ocean Springs, MS away from the snow.  He will be sorely missed by his family and friends and dog Murf.  
Family and friends will gather Monday, February 19, 2024 from 11-12 noon at Walter Pomierski & Son Funeral Home, 1059 West 32nd Street, Chicago, IL 60608. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, 1039 West 32nd Street, Chicago IL 60608. Interment is at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, IL. (773)927-6424
