Thomas Samuel "Sammy" Freeman

Mr. Thomas Samuel "Sammy" Freeman, age 76, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Greenwood Nursing & Rehab.
Sam's wishes were to be cremated. There will be a memorial held in his honor in May with family and close friends in Owensboro, KY.
Sam was born August 13, 1946, in Owensboro, KY to the late Walter Lee Freeman and the late Mary Elizabeth Watkins Freeman. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Karen Bell (Brown) Freeman, sisters, Carol Parr, Sally Pierce, and Bobbie Ann Freeman.
He is survived by his daughters, Beth Freeman of Bowling Green, KY, Leslie Reynolds (Brian) of Madisonville, KY and Erin Freeman of Madisonville, KY; grandsons, Tyler Smith of Batavia, OH, Cullen Reynolds of Nashville, TN and Hayden Reynolds of Bowling Green, KY; companion, Sara Wetzel of Owensboro, K; brothers, Walter Freeman of Bowling Green, KY, and Steve Freeman of Venice, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
Sam was a loving husband, father, and grand-dad and friend. He was a ten-year heart transplant survivor. Sam loved growing up in Owensboro, KY where he met his wife, Karen Brown. He loved his three daughters and grandsons more than anything.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
