In a recent purge of my stored documents that I've collected over the years, I uncovered the orthodontic treatment plan Dr. Gengler prescribed to me back in 1980. I was a working adult (26) at the time and my memories of him were that he was patient, gentle and reassuring. When I went to look him up this morning, I realized I was a bit late in reaching out. My condolences to the family. What a fulfilling career and legacy!

As a friend of Mary and Bob´s, I will never forget how friendly and graciously hospitable doc (and babe!) were when Mary and Bob were visiting from WA once a year or so and would invite me out. They immediately made me feel welcome at their home. Just a relaxed graciousness. If dinner or lunch was coming it was just expected I would stay! After the first time, I was almost as excited to get to see babe and doc as I was to see Mary and Bob! Having that kind of hospitality requires very open hearts. Such wonderful people that I am lucky to know.

Babe, Tom was such wonderful part of our breakfast group. I always enjoyed his soft and dry additions to the conversations. He has and will be missed. Fred Weber
