It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas J. Ginter announces his sudden passing from a heart attack, on Monday, March 22, 2021, at the age of 54 in Franklin, NH. Thomas (Tom) will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend of 9 years, Patti Sullivan and her son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Nikki Sullivan and their children, Deegan and Evan, who called Thomas, PePa. Tom is also survived by his mother, Dolly-Marie Ginter of Guilford, CT, brother, Richard Ginter and his husband, Ake Arnedal of Old Saybrook, CT, brother, David Ginter and his wife, Lynn of Clinton, CT, sister, Carol Fasulo and her husband, David of West Barnstable, MA, sister, Karen Greenwood and her husband, Jim of Evergreen, CO, brother, Paul Ginter and his wife, Trish of Edgartown, MA. Tom will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, their spouses and significant others, extended family and dear friends. Tom grew up in Madison, CT and after high school entered the United States Army, First Cavalry Division, where he was a cargo handling specialist for the Military Traffic Management Command in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Tom participated in successful redeployment of patriot missiles at the end of the operation. Tom also served 4 years in the Army Reserve in Massachusetts. Besides his love for his family, Tom was an ardent fan of the Washington Redskins, heavy metal music, camping, animals, sci-fi movies and TV shows. Tom was a great storyteller and had the best sense of humor. Tom was always the first one there when needed. He will be tremendously missed. We are all heartbroken. There was a private wake for Thomas on March 26, 2021. He will be cremated and interment with full honors will be held at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT on April 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. All are invited to attend the graveside service. Masks are requested to be worn. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make donations, in memory of Thomas, to your local Veterans Association or Animal Shelter. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire have been entrusted with arrangements. To view an online tribute, leave a message of condolence or for more information please visit www.csnh.com
