I enjoyed the little chats I had with Tom last fall in the hall at Danbury. I could tell from his smile and warmth he had served his community well. My condolences to his family and all who loved him. May he rest in peace.

Tom was the best principal I had over, ultimately, a career of 50 years. He was always focused on how to make the education process better for all, teachers, students, parents, community. No hidden agendas, no promoting himself! He was an educator and leader in the truest sense.
Tom was never shy about sharing his pride in his own children, often leaving our school on his way to an event at their schools. He was proud, too, of his wife, Vickie, when she was in our Waterloo building doing resource work.
I´ll always remember his honesty, work ethic, and smile as he navigated what could be a very frustrating job.
While his loss is great, I hope his family can find some comfort in knowing how well respected he was over the many years of his career and life. He clearly touched the lives of those with whom he worked and enjoyed life in the most positive way. He was a treasure to all ! May Tom now be at peace in a most well deserved eternal rest.
