Thomas Goldman

Holmdale - Thomas Goldman of Holmdel, NJ, a devoted husband, father of two, and visionary healthcare leader, passed away peacefully at his home on January 2, 2026. Tom will be dearly missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

Born October 23, 1937, in Slovakia, Tom survived Bergen-Belsen concentration camp as a child during World War II - an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to compassion and service. He immigrated to the United States in 1947 and earned a master's degree in Hospital Administration and Business Management from George Washington University in 1964.

While an undergraduate at Michigan, Tom met his wife, Lucy. Married in 1962, they shared more than six decades together. He is survived by Lucy and his daughters, Debbie of New Haven, CT, Lisa of Scottsdale, AZ, Lisa's husband Dustin, and many devoted relatives.

Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bayshore Community Health Services, now Bayshore Medical Center, leading to its founding in 1971. Tom received many professional awards including the New Jersey Hospital Association's distinguished Leadership Award for over 30 years of service.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Temple Shalom, 5 Ayrmont Lane, Aberdeen, New Jersey 07747.
