Thomas Francis Greene, 76, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Spangler, PA, on February 9, 1949, Tom was the son of the late Robert and Irene (Koch) Greene. He was a 1967 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown, PA.
Tom married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a beautiful life and raised their family in Bristol, PA.
He worked for over 20 years as a millwright at U.S. Steel, where his hard work, dedication, and skill earned the respect of all who worked beside him. Tom was a true craftsman—able to fix or build just about anything—and he took great pride in passing on his knowledge, creativity, and work ethic to his children and grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Kathleen; his son, Thomas Greene Jr. and his daughter, Melissa (Greene) Jones; He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Briana-Lynn (Paul), Donesse, Christyana (Dylan), Dominique (Jamie), Todd (Sierra), and Natalia; and his great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy: Maybelle, Lincoln, Jackson, Gracelyn, Keegan, Todd III, Kai, and Juliette.
He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Greene and Debra Krogulski, and was preceded in death by his beloved children, Monica (Greene) Henry and Todd Greene Sr. (Michele), as well as his sisters, Patricia Briar and Janet Diminico.
To all who knew him, Tom was the standard of what a man should be—a protector, provider, and a true gentleman. He was a “jack of all trades,” a source of wisdom, strength, and love to his family. He was a father figure to many and a “Pop-Pop” to all. His legacy lives on in the values, talents, and love he instilled in everyone around him.
A man of quiet strength and endless heart, Tom was truly one of a kind. They don’t make men like him anymore.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 9:00-10:45AM at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM at Saint Mark Church, Bristol.
