I knew Tom and his brother, Tony, from my time at Carr´s. He was a very quiet, hard worker and I liked him a lot. I knew a little bit about his family life from our conversations back then. Really one of the good people I met on that job. After all this time, I always wondered whatever happened to him and if life was good to him. I now see that it was. So sorry to hear this news. Peace to his spirit. -Ollen Erich Hunt.

This is devastating news, I just saw it on ADN today. I agree with everything that Ray B stated. Tom was a great man and a hard worker who always gave 125%, he treated everyone the way he would like to be treated, with dignity and respect. Tom and I worked on and off together at various Carr´s stores in the 70´s, 80´s, and 90´s then in 2004 I talked him into taking over as produce manager at New Sagaya where he quickly ascended to store manager.
Tom, I raise a toast to you, if I were half the man you were I would be twice the man I am today. Rest a well deserved rest my friend, hope to see you again when I transition from this third dimension reality.

Tommy started his career in grocery about a month before I did. We both worked at Carr's Gambell and continued on for many years after. Tom was always working hard, our crew did well working together and in competition. Competing to get the job done and have a fun time doing it. Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting became a long time joke between us.. Loved the man for his dedication, humor and thoughtfulness to all in his path. Tom and I continued our loose relationship when he moved on the Sagaya. I did work for him and was always treated with respect. Rest well my brother, rest well and we shall laugh again in heavenly gardens. To his family and friends, we lost a good one, but we got to experience greatness.
