Thomas Robert Harkins

I researched and found Tom, an extremely capable and experienced mechanic, at his Little River shop. Over 5+ years I only hired him for several minor repairs on my BMW, but after finding him to be the most honest mechanic ever, our friendship developed and I visited him numerous times. He always had time to chat a bit, sometimes even while working on a vehicle in the shop. I enjoyed his dry sense of humor and straight shooting opinions. I visited him several times in a rehab facility during his final weeks, bringing him snacks and listening to his plans to get stronger and back to "work". It hurts when people you like pass away.
It hurt to hear you went away Tom. I will miss you old friend.
