Thomas "Tommy" Henry Sr.

Thomas (Tommie) Jefferson Henry age 64 of 23 Smythe Street Belton, SC peacefully passed Friday January 23, 2026, at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House. He was born in Anderson County on March 06, 1961, to the late Willie Henry and George Anna Burns Henry.

Tommie was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. He had a warm spirit and kind loving heart. He loved spending time with his family, watching the Dallas Cowboys and singing with his Gospel Group Focus. His laughter and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Tommie is survived and cherished by his devoted wife of 42 years Frances Pickens Henry of Belton, S.C., daughters Jessica Henry of Honea Path S.C., Jocilyn Henry of Belton, S.C., Tomara Glenn of Belton S.C., Ranosha (Geno) Cook of Belton S.C., Retasha Dixon of Belton S.C., and Veronica Pickens of Greenville S.C., sons Thomas (TJ) Henry Jr., of the Belton, S.C., and Jamayes (Tokie) Dixon of Belton S.C., two sisters Regina Henry Turner of Belton S.C., and Alene Henry of Anderson S.C., two brothers Paul (Rozena) Henry of Greenville S.C., and Patrick Henry Sr. of Anderson S.C., 23 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Henry and George Anna Burns Henry and daughter Georgina Henry. The family will be at the home 23 Smythe Street. Funeral services will be held Saturday
