Thomas Michael Hockaday, age 88, of Casper, Wyoming passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023, at Park Place Assisted Living with Steve and Rhonda by his side. Tom was born June 29, 1934, in Manchester, Iowa to Chester and Margarete (Farmer) Hockaday, he was the first child born. He attended schools in Greeley, Iowa. They relocated as a family to Casper, WY in 1963. He was in the Banking and Real Estate industry until 2 years before his passing. He was adamant of checking stocks at the end of each day.
In 1955, he married LouAnn O’Donnell and together they had four children before divorcing. He then married Jean Hanson on June 10, 1978, and remained married until her passing in February of 2019.
He is survived by four children, Steve (Rhonda) Hockaday, Mary (Jim) Leversee, Peggy (John) Whitaker and Mark (Jill) Hockaday, four step-children Pam, Rick, Renee, Allen and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Park Place for their wonderful care for Dad. He loved his time there and made some wonderful friends.
