Thomas Hribko Obituary
Thomas "Tommy" J. Hribko, 70, of Wallingford, former longtime resident of New Haven, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Halina Starzec Hribko. Tommy was born in New Haven on July 31, 1955, and was the son of the late John and Josephine Myjack Hribko Sr. Tommy is survived by one sister Diane Lyon. He is predeceased by two brothers Richard Hribko and John Hribko Jr. Tommy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a custodian at the University of New Haven and was employed with Marlin Firearms for many years. He was a member of Thaddeus Koscusko Society. Tommy enjoyed entertaining and had a passion for cooking and enjoyed making pizza. He attended many concerts, loved listening to music and was an avid fan of car-racing and traveled all over New England to attend.
The visiting hours will be Saturday, December 6th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church of Blessed Michael McGivney Parish, 9 Eld Street, New Haven at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. www.northhavenfuneral.com
