Tom Johnson
Earlier today
Tom was very consistent in what he felt was correct in actions and words. He was seen as an honest man and as fair in dealings as they come. I admired his family as well.

A true mentor and friend. When Tom came to Lacrosse in 1997, to add another salesman, I was assigned to be his new guy! I casually told him that when I joined Trane they said 'pick 3 cities and you will get one of them'. I had picked 3 in the warm southwest as I grew up in the midwest and, in the Army was stationed in the SE. Tom looked at me, smiled and said why would you want to go to a warm climate. We also sell a lot of heating products so Michigan gives you more chances to succeed! He was right as usual.

How to describe Tom? The word authentic comes to mind. Not a fake bone in his body. Loving, compassionate, professional all apply. Maybe wise and trustworthy most of all. We´ll miss him.

Tom was a man who you could never forget and I certainly won´t. There just were not many like him. A privilege to have known him.
