Thomas Janisch Obituary

Thomas Paul Janisch was born on January 17, 1946 at St. Joseph''s Hospital in Beaver Dam. He was the son of Isadore and Mercedes (Jackman) Janisch. He was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School with the class of 1964. He graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1968. Tom began his job with the Department of Natural Resources at Horicon in the Wild Life & Fish Department and later was the Contaminated Sediment Coordinator with the Bureau of Watershed Management. In all, he worked 30 years with the DNR, the last two as a consultant.
Tom is survived by his mother, Mercedes Janisch of Beaver Dam, three brothers, Douglas (Alice) Janisch of Gulf Port, FL, William Janisch and Charles Janisch, both of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, two aunts, one uncle, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made in Thomas Janisch''s name to the St. Katharine Drexel School Endowment Fund, 117 W. Maple Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
