Thomas Joseph T.J. deBlois

Thomas Joseph de Blois, known to family and friends as TJ, age 38 of Philadelphia, PA passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, he has lived in Philadelphia for the past 10 years.
TJ had been employed at Standard Tap at 2nd and Poplar Streets in Philadelphia for the past 3 years. A very talented musician, TJ enjoyed playing the drums in several local bands, inspiring many fellow drummers who had the privilege of hearing him play. He was very fond of his dogs Chester and Barba. He was funny, kind, and always looked out for others.
Son of the late Dr. J. Albert de Blois, Jr., he is survived by his mother Elizabeth A. de Blois Rickett and her husband Charles Rickett, his grandmother Dorothy M. Boyd of Morrisville, two beloved children Ava and Remy de Blois of Churchville, PA, his girlfriend Katherine Leung, three brothers and sisters-in-law David A. and Janine de Blois of Bristol, PA, Patrick and Phyllis de Blois of Tuckerton, NJ and Michael and Lynn de Blois of Walcott, IA, a sister Donna Kudra of Davis, CA, a sister-in-law Judy de Blois of Manahawkin, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Trenton, NJ.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
