What a sad surprise to read of Tom's passing. He was an extremely kind, ethical, and caring man as my supervisor, serving as Director of Clinical Services at The Children's Center in Hamden decades ago. My condolences to his wife, son, and family.

Dear Bev and Dan I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Please know you are in my thoughts at this time.

Beverly and Daniel - My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Tom was my cousin (his dad and my mother were brother and sister). We lost contact years ago but he was thought of often. One of my fondest memories of Tom and his family was when they arrived at my mom's house or my aunts over the holidays - he and his bother and sisters = they were always hungry -for my mom's pies. I wish we could have reunited earlier - I could bake him a pie. Just know that Tom was loved by our family. Love to you and Daniel. Sue Canino

Mrs Kidder and Dan. In the years I knew Tom he taught me what it would have taken me a life time to learn. Coming fresh from graduate school and meeting a man like Tom was a blessing to me. I will never forget him nor the love he had for mankind. I take with me all the blessings I learned from him, you and your son. I am so honored to have been a part of Tom's life as well as you Bev and Dan. My life around you three was a learning experience in that God always blessed you three with the knowledge of how to love and care for others. For all that I want to say thank you. And thank you for have shared Tom with the rest of us in this world. That got to see first hand what true love and kindness is really about. God Bless you and Dan always. Because I know Tom is in heaven where he can share with the Angels as he once did with us.

Tom and I first met about a year ago when he suddenly and permanently lost his ability to speak. Such an event is normally a very traumatizing experience to deal with. It was inspiring to see how energetically and determinedly Tom worked in establishing a completely different repertoire of communication. Tom always strove forward with good humor, a sunny disposition, and optimism. Tom and I kept in touch over the summer as my wife and I had to relocate for medical treatment. Without exception whenever I contacted him about her progress, he would always have heartfelt words of encouragement. Tom always said he included us in his prayers. This was quintessential Thomas. Utmost in thinking of others with reassurance and offering inspiration. How I have admired his spirit, determination and devotion. Beverly, it has been a humbling honor to have known Tom, you, and your remarkable son Daniel. May Christ bless Thomas and you and your family.
