Thomas Korn Obituary
Of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. He was born Buffalo, NY, on July 19, 1960 the son of the late Robert and Dorothy [Plummer] Korn. Thomas was a retail manager for several stores in the area over the years. He loved traveling but enjoyed a quiet productive life on the shore of Lake Ontario for almost 30 years. Thomas shared 45 years of his life with his husband Mark Lynch. Their relationship was officially validated in New York in 2011. They were married with 70 other same sex couples in Niagara Falls. Thomas was fortunate to have a large loving and supportive family. In addition to his husband, he is survived by his siblings Robert (Carol) Korn, Paul (Lisa) Korn, Nancy (John) Blashak, and Janet Hrinda-Korn, also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Diane (late Jim) Wagner. A celebration of his life will take place at his lake side home at a time be announced. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Lewiston, NY. Visit www.rhoneyfuneralhome.com, for guest register.
