Thomas St. "Tom" Kotts

1949 - 2023

Thomas (Tom) Stanley Kotts, of Boyd, Wi, formerly of Hoffman Estates and Rolling Meadows, IL, passed away Sunday, September 10th. Tom was born October 17, 1949, to the late Stanley and Georgieanna, nee Horner, in Ollie, IA. On December 12, 1975, he married Diane Marie Luka in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Tom was a radarman in the U.S. Navy from 1968 to 1972. Tom retired from Trane Air Conditioning and heating after 36 years. Tom successfully traveled the entire world, stepping foot on all 7 continents, as well as sailing the 7 seas. Tom was famous for growing a great garden which led to his lifelong dream of owning a farm, which he accomplished in 2000. Tom did not have any blood related children but treated many as his own.

Tom passed away, peacefully, on his farm, with his daughter Lori, granddaughter Danielle, and his son Elvis, by his side. They all wished Tom a nigh nigh shoo shoo goodnight.
Tom is survived by his daughter Lori (sweetheart), granddaughter Danielle (Dannerdoos), his son Jim aka Elvis (Isabel) Fritzler, and his grandchildren Trinity and Tom, his son Lance (Sharon) Luka and his grandsons Nick and Joe, his sister Linda (Ron) Wilcox, his sister Barbara (Bob) Durham, his brother Jim (Nancy) Kotts, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgieanna and father Stanley, as well as his loving wife Diane.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to wish your family good night, as Tom and Diane would, by saying nigh nigh shoo shoo.
Tom's final wishes were cremation with no formal service.
