I am truly so sorry to just learn of Tom's passing. Tom and I shared the stage on the Iyanla show many years ago talking about home improvement and home cleaning and I will never forget how kind, intelligent and fun he was to be with. I have followed his columns and advice for years. We've lost a true legend and champion in the home improvement space.

Your warm voice filled with good advice will always be missed, Tom.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. I will miss hearing his voice and advice on the radio.

I am just a huge fan from RI who was an avid listener to the Money Pit and learned so much from Tom Kraeutler. My prayers go out to his family. Take comfort in the fact that he touched so many lives with his knowledge, wisdom, and kind way. God bless you

I wish I could give you a hug. Before we moved I went down our basement and there was a strange smell. I saw Tom outside and him being an expert on renovation I asked if he could come over to check it out. Thomas was home before starting at Michigan and he came too. Tom identified the smell as gas and asked for some dish soap. He put it on the pipe and it bubbled which indicated a leak. He asked me if he could film. Thomas actually did the filming and I got to see Tom in action explaining the situation and how to check for a gas leak. We were able to repair the problem quickly due to his expert troubleshooting. Tom was a very special person who I always admired and will remember forever. I only knew Tom through Scouting, so I can only imagine how much he meant to you. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am stunned and saddened by Tom´s passing. To Susan, his children, Mary Beth and Lisa and his whole family - he was such a good person. I am so glad I knew him. My sincere sympathy.
