Thomas Krupa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc. on Feb. 17, 2026.
Thomas G. Krupa, 70, of Ashford, CT, passed away peacefully as his family held his hands on February 14, 2026. Born in Meriden, CT, Tom was son of the late Henry and Annette Krupa. He was the beloved husband of 42 years of Carol A. Krupa, whom he met during his lifelong career as a truck driver when they worked together at Purolator. He last worked for HP Hood for over 30 years before his retirement. Tom had many passions including hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, kart racing, and disc golfing, and was a past member of the Tri State Kart Club and the Professional Disc Golf Association. He loved a good project and was always building or fixing something, for himself or whoever needed a hand. More than anything he enjoyed quiet moments with his family.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his son, Jeffrey Krupa; stepson, Nelson Boutot and his wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Andrew, Dylan, Joey, Jeremy and Zoey Boutot; brother, Henry "Hank" Krupa, Jr.; and sister, Carol T. Krupa.

Tom's family would like to thank the staff of Eastern Connecticut Hematology and Oncology for their efforts as well as the doctors, nurses and PCTs of the 2nd floor oncology wing at Backus Hospital for their care and attention during his stay.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT.
