Thomas J. Leibrand

Thomas J. Leibrand, of Maple Shade, passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on May 2, 1949, in Camden, he was a man whose life was defined by his care and passion for his family.
Tom was a devoted father to his two children, John Leibrand and his wife Joanne, and Jennifer Finn and her husband Joseph. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Kelsey Aikens and her husband Scott, Liam Finn, and Keith Leibrand.
Tom was predeceased by his dear sister, Dee Pecsi, but his memory will be cherished by his nephews, Marc, Lou Jr., and Brian Pecsi, as well as his brother-in-law, Lou Pecsi. Each family gathering was brightened by his spirit and warm laughter, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
An avid sports enthusiast, Tom's passion for baseball, particularly his beloved Philadelphia Phillies, was well-known among his friends and family. He found solace in the tranquility of fishing and especially the pool table, where he often shared his love for the game with others while keeping his own skills sharp. Tom's kindhearted and friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Monday, February 5th from 10 am to 11 am at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
