My brother Archie told me about Tom´s passing which really brought tears to
The good old days . Playing baseball behind the motel . I recall being up to bat and OUCH right on my eye. Well. Glasses . You know how that bleeds so. He was so attentive and of course off I went to surgeons office . Dr Kutz put a bandage on it and back to the baseball field .. To see the relief on Tom´s face. It was truly beautiful. He was a friend to anyone he met! Good old days. Those memories will forever be in our hearts. See you later Tom .

Tom and his family were neighbors in Maryland in the mid-80's. As fellow IBM'ers are paths crossed many times in Connecticut as well as Maryland over the years. We always enjoyed Tom and Carol and their boys. Our son Andy mowed their lawn many times. Tom and Carol were a wonderful couple and we enjoyed the days we shared in Germantown, Md. R.I.P. Tom, gone way too soon. Carol sending our prayers and condolences. Love, Jan and John Leffler

Tom was my baby brother and only sibling. I have loved him since the day he was born. We were so proud of the family he and Carol created and how successful he became in life. One of Tom´s big regrets was that our father never lived long enough to see his sons, Chris and Matt. Thankfully, Tom lived to know his precious granddaughters Evelyn & Kinley.
Although we lived miles apart, we talked every Sunday. No subject was off limits; no end to the teasing he gave, especially when he always reminded me of how I was the older one. He kept adding to the number of years difference. What was once a point of envy when I turned 16 and could drive, he was only 13, was no longer an asset in later years. Regardless, our calls always ended with "I love you".
Tom´s passing feels like the loss of an appendage. Life without him will never be the same. I love you dearly little brother and will until the end of time.

I met Tom and Carol while we all lived in Monroe Connecticut. Her beautiful sons babysat my kids early on. Carol and I volunteered at the schools where our kids attended bringing us closer together as families. We then started a gourmet group where the guys could shine showing off their cooking skills.
The Leis family moved to SC and invited me to visit. They convinced me to move too. We maintained our lovely long time friendship which I´m so grateful for. Tom will be dearly missed
