So sorry to hear of Tom´s early passing. Whenever we were in the field on lengthy projects, Tom patiently & quietly tackled whatever difficult tasks presented themselves, until his sharp wit delivered yet another low-key & hilarious one-liner or impersonation, and with perfect timing. Tom could make the work fun, and after work, an adventure. And he was generous. There was no "splitting-the-bill" with him. I never played golf with Tom, but after destroying me at pool in NYC, he dispatched all comers, dozens of workers on the WTC, sometimes running the table, or somehow making the shot even if he couldn´t see the ball. I´ve been in pool leagues but never saw anything quite like it. Tom´s reaction was humble, paying no mind to how he´d owned the table for a couple hours. Patient, hilarious, generous, humble... these are the traits that come to mind when I think of Tom. He will be missed.
