Thomas Wayne Lott, also known as ‘Beanie’ born on June 7, 1963, in the heart of America, passed away on February 19, 2025. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and a great friend to many. His generous spirit, humor, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew him.
Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, a testament to his dedication and sense of duty. After his service, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, often found engaging in his favorite activities like fishing and playing scratch-offs, which brought him joy and excitement. He also loved to spend time at the family property in Louisiana, creating lasting memories with loved ones in the scenic surroundings.
An avid user of social media, Thomas delighted in sharing moments from his life on TikTok and Facebook, connecting with friends and family, and keeping the laughter alive. His caring nature and infectious personality made him a beloved presence in any gathering. Thomas had the ability to uplift others, combining his loving disposition with a unique sense of humor that left many with smiles and laughter, even during challenging times.
His legacy will be honored with a viewing on February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will follow on March 1, 2025, commencing at 3:00 PM at the same location. Thomas will be laid to rest in a burial service taking place on March 3, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
