Thomas James "Tommy" Lumpkin

Thomas "Tommy" James Lumpkin, age 53 of South Dakota, died on Friday, January 30, 2026. Tommy was born on December 2, 1972 in Newport News. He worked as a waterman. He was preceded in death by his father, James Carrol Lumpkin. Survivors include his wife, Tami Lynn Stewart Lumpkin, son Ryan Lumpkin, his mother, Gloria Lumpkin, sisters Brenda Taylor (Steve), Donna Belvin (Robert), Casey Webb, nephews Brian Belvin, Justin Blevin, and special nephew, Kyle Slaughter. He is also survived by his aunt, Linda Harris and cousin, Lori Subervielle. A graveside service will be held at Gloucester Point Cemetery on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 1:00 pm, officiated by Joel Emerson. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home.
