Thomas W. Lynch 68 Passed away on August 23rd 2022 in the comfort of his home surrounded by Family after a short illness.
He was born in Chicago IL on August 5th 1954 to Arthur and Rita (Canty) Lynch. The family moved to Streator where he attended St. Anthony grade school and Streator high school and graduate of class of 1973.

Children are Shannon (Lynch) Majercin, Chad Lynch of Streator, Jessica Lynch of Streator, Rebecca Lynch of Winchester IN, Stepdaughter Kristen Hayden of New Castle IN.
Grandchildren Trayton Majercin, Clayton Lynch, Norra Lynch, Connor Freeman, Carter Osland, Laylah Osland, Larkin Osland, Seth Hayden, Caleb Hayden, Lorelei Hayden, Sarah Hayden.
Tom worked at Thatchers Glass in Streator till shut down, worked for Ball and ICON in Plainfield for a short time before moving to Winchester to work at Ardgh Glass where he worked for many years and retired.
Tom was a man who could light up a room with his storytelling or jokes. He loved our American flag and what it stood for. He loved woodworking and keeping his yard in good shape. He spent a lot of time helping others. If you needed a hand he was there. He loved helping his neighbors and others. He gave selflessly without wanting anything in return. He loved his wildlife. He fed his squirrels, birds, and his beloved cat Pounce.
Services were held in Winchester Indiana on August 27th, 2022
Cremation rights are accorded and burial will be at St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date.
Celebration of life in his honor will be held when we have a date set in Streator. Everyone will be notified as we get plans set. Any condolences, cards please direct to us. If and monetary donations will be dedicated to adding something for wildlife.
